Dear people,

For two years now there have been weekly raids in Neukölln – accompanied by big headlines and reports, documentaries and series about the so-called clan criminality (#Clankriminalität) of large Arab families. What experts think about this, you can read for yourself: Tagesspiegel

These posts lead us to believe that anyone and everyone who enters a Shisha-bar is an habitual offender. Ultimately, this rhetoric drives the stigmatization of Arab, Turkish and Kurdish citizens and culminated in the right-wing terrorist attack in Hanau. We all know that the perpetrator of Hanau did not go to a Shisha-bar by accident! He killed young and innocent people, because in his confused world view, these people were serious criminals. This is the same image staged by politicians, who cannot end their addictions to profiling.

We do not want a second Hanau. No Rostock-Lichtenhagen, no Mölln, no Hoyerswerda, no NSU, no Kassel, no Halle, no second Hanau. We want real change instead of expressions of solidarity with expiration dates.
We want organized crime to be fought, actively and effectively. We want arrest warrants, not interviews about carbon monoxide levels. And that is why we reject this attack on minorities.

We say: No to racism! Good politics does not need camera teams and likes on social media. Good politics tackle problems. Good politics is differentiated and has real successes.

Because of the Corona crisis, which affects all of our lives and everyday life, collecting signatures on the street is currently not possible. For the time we need to overcome the crisis, we ask for your support digitally. The problems before the pandemic will occupy us just as much after the pandemic if we don’t demand change! We are looking forward to your post.
